CSAS Assists the Silverton Colorado Avalanche Information Center Staff with Starting Up a New Remote Weather Station above Highway 550 on Red Mountain Pass, October 2004

 

Attended the Fall Meeting of the American Geophysical Union held in San Francisco December 13-17, 2004 to present a poster titled, "Mountain Snow System Interactions" and featuring our dust on snow pilot study and a discussion of avalanche formation processes interactions.

 

Attended MTNCLIM2005, a conference held in Pray, Montana on March 1-4, 2005 concerning mountain climates and their effects on ecosystems. The CSAS presented a poster describing the Senator Beck Basin Study Area research infrastructure and indicated the CSAS's interest in the development of a mountain climate monitoring network.
