PROGRAMS

The Center for Snow and Avalanche Studies supports the following research, monitoring, and field education programs with research infrastructure in our Senator Beck Basin Study Area, year-round snow system datasets, direct collaboration or project facilitation, and field instruction.  We seek to assist all students of snow interested in snow-driven mountain system processes and their response to global change, be they an interdisciplinary team of professional scientists, graduate or undergraduate researchers, a university field camp group, or practicing snow professionals.
