A Colorado State
University snow hydrology class conducts a field exercise sampling the spatial
variation of snowpack depth on an apparently uniform slope near Red Mountain
Pass. The CSAS has provided technical, logistical, and instructional support
to field camps for some eight different universities and other schools visiting
the Silverton area.
