After failing to obtain funding from NASA in 2002/2003, we continued our 'dust on snow' pilot study, monitoring and sampling dust layers in and on the snowpack, as seen here in a snowpit at Swamp Angel Study Plot.	Tom Painter, making spectrographic measurements every 2 cm down a snowpit face.
